DreamQuete Exotics and Highlanders --TICA (DreamQuest - CFA) is located in Northwest Indiana, about 35 miles southeast of Chicago, Illinois. We are a small cattery devoted to breeding quality Exotic, Himalayan, Colorpoint Exotic and Highlander kittens. Our kittens are raised underfoot with Houdini, our lovable 11 year old Sheltie.
I began with the intention of breeding show quality Persians and in the process fell in love with Exotics and Himalayans. Of course the natural progression was to Colorpoint Exotics --shorthaired HImalayans! I ended up keeping 2 of Tiki's 3 Exotic kittens from her first litter! Vinny D. is named after a pretty popular film star, and our guy (blue classic tabby and white)has the kitty equivalent of Mr. Diesel's physique -- he's a big boy with an ultra plush coat. His daddy is CFA Grand Champion Ladiluck's Nike of Jabiba.Sampson's son, Ariel, (DreamQuete Bring Back the Magic), is a brown spotted tabby exotic who has his daddy's wonderful type. He will be our next big stud. Our kittens are raised with a lot of love and attention. People who have adopted our babies often comment on how super sweet and affectionate our babies are. I think part of that is inherent in the Exotic breed, and we make sure that to develop those sweet dispositions.
Because of my asthma, I was forced to cut back on my breeding program, so I am concentrating on the Exotics and my 3 Highlanders. I do still have my lovely Caprice, who will be bred a few more times and then be one my forever kitties along with VionnyD. I am a small hobby breeder, not a major cattery, so kittens are available on limited basis. The advantages of being small are many - kittens are raised in my home, underfoot and get lots of love and socialization. Our first Highlander kittens will be for sale later this spring.

Vinny completed the requirements for his Supreme Grand Champion title by being named "Best Cat" in Judge Odette Lamoureux's AllBreed ring at the Great Lakes Regional Show in Milwaukee, WI on August 16, 2003. Thank you Krista for doing such a marvelous job showing your "sexy boy"!!

Vinny does it again! Vinny D earned third "Best of the Best" honors at the TICA show in Flint, MI October 18-19, 2003. Vinny finaled in 7/10 rings and earned "Best Cat" honors from judges Dwayne Barnes (TICA Vice President) and Deb Brown -- both AllBreed rings!

Floricats Starman of Dreamquete (Sonny) joined our family on Friday, June 8th, 2007! We are really excited to have this handsome red tabby and white son of CH Floricats Scarlet join us here at DreamQuete. I've missed having bi-color Exotic babies since I neutered Vinnyd, and now we will have them back with Starman and Scarlet joining us here at DreamQuete! In his first show with us, (Portage, IN, June 23-24), Starman made 4 finals including a Second Best in judge Electra Hammond's shorthair ring! We look forward to many more successful outings with this wonderful boy.
At the Great Lakes Regional Show in Grand Rapids, August 3-5th, Sonny-Starman was best of breed Exotic in 13/16 rings and made 6 finals. He is now a TICA Triple Grand Champion and just 315 points and one more final away from the Quadruple Grand Champion.
Sonny made 4 finals on Saturday at the South Bend show and is now a Quadruple Grand Champion.

In his very first show in the Championship (adult) class, our Sunsoar JollyMon of Dreamquete earned his Champion, Grand Champion, and Double Grand Champion titles! He finished 3rd Best Cat in Championship out of almost 50 excellent show cats! We are so proud of our JollyMon who is named after a Jimmy Buffet song, perfect for the Portage, IN"Wastin' Away in Margaritaville" show theme (June 27-28, 2009). He finalled in 12/12 rings!
Jolly became a Quadruple Grand Champion in Franklin Park, IL,Oct. 3-4. He finaled in 9/10 rings, including a Best Allbreed Cat honor from judge Bill Lee!! Jolly was 3rd Best Cat in Championship. He only needs one more Best Cat to earn his Supreme Grand Champion title!

Jolly earned his Supreme Grand Champion title by being named Best AllBreed Cat by Judge Nancy Parkinson in his very first ring in St. Francis. Jolly went on to earn 4 "Best Cat" awards from Judges Nancy Parkinson, Vickie Fisher, Susan Lee, and Jeff Roberts. Jolly also finaled in every ring and earned "Best of the Best" honors by placing as #1 Cat in Show!
Off to Livonia, MI November 22nd/23rd, Second Best Cat in Championship and 2 more Best Cat honors!
